    Cities: Capital--Dar es Salaam. Major metropolises--Arusha, Mwanza, Dodoma, Mbeya, Mtwara, Stonetown, Zanzibar.
    Terrain: Varied.
    Climate: Varies from tropical to arid to temperate.
